C’est la vie! Welcome to “La Belle”! Last year I unexpectedly spent some time in the beautiful and relatively unknown Caribbean country of Dominica. Whenever stepping out of my hostel I never knew quite who I’d end up encountering. In the village of Soufrière the locals walk down the street singing, the church services are upbeat and vibrant and the people aren’t short of a story to tell you. Local legend Boyce couldn’t have been more proud of his house that he’d built from scratch with things he’s found on the beach, so I grabbed my camera and filmed him showing off his house “La Belle”. A place that’s so different from anything I’ve seen before. I think we could all learn a little something from Boyce and the way he lives his life.
